Uncle Rod's

This weekend we went to Uncle Rod's to celebrate Tori's birthday.

Check out my super cute outfit, I love the new jeans!

Beej Turns 3

The Beej turns 3 this week. We weren't able to make his party, so we got together another day to celebrate.

Here I am with Aunt Katie in the bouncy castle. The bouncy castle isn't a birthday party thing, they just have one. How awesome is that???

Moms are allowed in, but are not allowed to bounce.

Beej was very happy to show me how to bounce. After I warmed up to it I loved it. Especially throwing myself down the slide. There are no photos of that since the photographer had to give up photo duty to catch me at the bottom of the slide.

After a lot of bouncing we needed to refuel with lunch and birthday brownies!

Playing

I love playing outside on our new front porch.

Back to Work

Monday was my first day back to work and Lola's first full day of day care. We both did well. Here we are all set to head out on our big adventure.

Lola also brought home her first pieces of art work from day care. We think that she definatly has natural talent!

Chewy

Chewy is still around! And even though she is a bit slower and sleeps a bit more Lola is still pestering her. One of Lola's favourite things to do is to kick a sleeping Chewy out of her bed.

Sorry Chewy, we really can't control her!

Sandbanks

The Etherington's and the Duntgomery's took a trip to Sandbanks.

Here are the ladies and the babies playing in the water.

Lola loved the beach, especially playing in the water and eating the sand. Note the sand ring around her mouth! We had a great time and almost all of us managed to not burn. Darcy was the exception and now the proud owner of a reverse farmers tan!

It was a great trip to the beach, there really isn't a better way to spend a summer day!

This is it!

It has been a good run and I've enjoyed every last minute, but today is the final day of my 13 month maternity leave (yes, I haven't worked in 13 months, how awesome is that???). I'm heading back to work on Monday. If you see me on the subway give me a little hug; I'll be the one with the red swollen eyes and mascara running down her face. I'll do my best to keep the blog up to date, so that you can still keep track of Miss Lola and her adventures.
