One of Lola's favourite games to play is 'close the office door and yell and scream at mom and dad'. She could play it for hours!
The only game more popular than this is pick up stick with Q-tips. She just can't get enough of that one.

Ear Infections
We don't know if we are dealing with the same ear infection or a whole new one, but regardless Lola is on another round of antibiotics for her ear infection. Along with the antibiotics, the doctor prescribed a few days playing at home to recover and build up some immunity strength. Thankfully Mom has a fairly understanding and forgiving work place. So, here is a look at what we have been up to while weathering the storm of another infection.
Dad picked up this sweet motionball hat, Lola loves it.
While at home Lola has discovered that she can open the pantry and get herself as many Whole O's as she can shove in her mouth. Surprisingly, she can fit a whole lot of them in there.
Sometimes all of them don't actually get eaten.
Getting ready to go out for our after dinner walk.
Lola sometimes looses her patience waiting for everyone to get ready. She likes to get moving.

A week in photos
With four new teeth (yes four, nature is cruel like that!) on their way through and a double ear infection, Lola hasn't been her normal chipper self this week. Not able to go to day care, she spent the week at home. Thankfully Grandma was able to come and spend a few days with Lola, so that mom wouldn't get fired for taking more time off after just returning from a 13 month maternity leave.
Even with all that badness going on, she is still a pretty happy kid!
Okay, nobody can be happy all the time!Daddy and Lola comparing their feet.

Long Weekend
Thursday I came home sick from day care, so it was a four day weekend. Needless to say our Labour day weekend didn't start out that well.Feed a cold, sleep a fever...
On Saturday I was feeling a bit better, so mom and dad took me to buy my first and second pair of big girl shoes. Mom just couldn't resist these ones.
On Sunday my fever was down so we decided to take a trip to visit Grandpa and Oma.
Behind Daddy and Grandpa (far in the distance, if you squint your eyes just right) you can see Christian Island. Grandpa and Oma have promised to take me there on a sailing adventure!
Here we are out for a walk enjoying the amazing weather.
My fever got a bit out of control (again) in Collingwood, so I spent some time just cuddling on the couch and hanging around in my diaper.
For cocktail hour Oma gave me some hummus to eat (which I totally love). I wasn't the cleanest guest at cocktail hour, but definitely the most enthusiastic.
Thanks for a great visit Grandpa and Oma!
