Christmas at Home

The next stop on our Christmas tour was Christmas at home. Grandma came and spent the night and both of us were hoping that Santa wouldn't forget us. And he didn't! I was so excited to come downstairs in the morning (at 8:30am) and find my previously empty stocking full to the brim with lots of great things.
One of my favourites was my new Dora socks!

Santa also brought me my very own shopping cart! I quickly filled it up with all my favourite things and raced around the house doing some of my own 'shopping'.
When I made it back to the tree the adults had continued to open presents without me. Mom got a whole lot of candy in her stocking and I was enjoying sneaking it. In this photo I had just finished a mouth full of green Jelly Belly's.
Mom and Dad gave me this great guitar (with real strings) for Christmas.
As soon as we can find someone to show me how to play it; I'm going to be a rock star.
Grandma and Grandpa Steve gave me a totally awesome portable DVD player. I can watch Dora anywhere now. Here I am watching a video on the couch while Grandma looks at her Lola book.
At this point it was time to take a break from gift opening to have some breakfast, Dad did a great job with the eggs benny, but I mostly loved the sausage!
Back to the tree for some more presents!
Mom and Dad bought me my new 'fashion' boots. Now I have rain boots, winter boots, and fashion boots.
I really like the Lola book that Mom and Dad made for Grandma.
Totally a rock star in training! Dad says that this picture fits in well with my Lady Gaga photo collection.

Christmas Stop #2

After heading out from Christmas #1 with Grandpa and Oma we stopped in for a quick visit with the soon to be Winnipeg Dunton's. Joseph was all set and very excited about the upcoming visit from Santa.

Most of the house was in boxes ready to get on a truck the day after Christmas, but we managed to still have fun. And who needs a bunch of toys when you have a couch, a ball, and a bunch of kids.We took this really nice photo of all of us.
And then we took this one.

Christmas in Collingwood

The first stop on our Christmas tour was Grandpa and Oma's for our Collingwood Christmas. Before we sat down to our traditional delicious dinner of cheese and seafood cooked in pots of boiling hot oil, we went for a winter walk.
Collingwood has been on the receiving end of a great deal of snow lately. Mom and Dad were excited to get out there, while I was a bit hesitant of snow drifts twice my height. Thankfully I was equipped with my bubble gum pink snowsuit in case of any emergencies.
Grandpa and Zen had built this super amazing snow fort last weekend.
Mom, Grandpa, Brett, and Tanta Ness were hanging out in there.
Dad and I decided to join in.
It was great fun.
After our walk I got dressed in my Christmas dress for dinner.
Mom tried very hard to take a nice picture of me.
I was having none of that.
Though I did stop long enough to take this cute picture with Oma.
Up next: Christmas carols! This is a high quality rhythm band, make sure that you book early for your next event!
After fondu and all that singing Grandpa and I did a little catching up
Then it was up to bed; mom and dad both fell asleep with me. So, really nothing happened until the next morning.
When we finally woke up on Christmas eve morning it was time for some presents. Jax and I were waiting patiently for presents.

Finally some presents! I was so excited to help everyone with the opening of their gifts. Tanta Ness and Brett were nice enough to wait and let me help them.
Here is Dad modeling his new pajama pants. Later in our vacation he wore them for 36 hours straight (but that is for another blog post).
Here I am helping Grandpa open his presents.
And also helping Oma.
After this session I was primed and ready for the big day of present opening. Thanks for the great Christmas Grandpa, Oma, Tanta Ness and Brett. Next stop...
