My First Hair Cut
This past weekend Grandpa and Oma drove down for a visit. We hadn't seen them since our trip to Florida, so it was nice to see them and catch up on everything that has happened since February!
Mom asked Oma if she could give my hair a little trim, recently my bangs have grown enough to get in my eyes, so she thought that it was time.
The before shots, my long flowing locks.

The action shots, Oma did very good and fast work and I sat super sit for her. I was really excited about Oma's salon being open for business in my house!

The after shots. You might not be able to really tell by these photos, but I did get a full trim and I love it.
Oma's salon doesn't just do hair, but they also do nails with flower stickers and gems. I sat very still so that they could dry with no mucking them up.

Thanks so much for the visit and all the beauty work Oma and Grandpa. It was so nice to see you!

Dinner with Grandpa and Baba
This weekend Grandpa, Baba and Uncle Jon came over to visit. And we headed out to our absolute favourite restaurant for dinner. We love Le Papillon On The Park for a number of reasons: great menu, delicious food, wonderful ambiance, and it is close enough to walk to!
Grandpa and I lead the charge to Le Papillon.
Mom wasn't great at being the photographer at dinner, her ability to photograph events is directly related to the amount of wine consumed, so excuse the pictures and the glaring lack of evidence that Baba was actually there.
But, she did capture my absolute love of poutine.
Cheese, french fries and gravy; I am one happy little girl.
Thanks for the great visit Grandpa, Baba, and Uncle Jon we had such a great time and I am really looking forward to the upcoming sleepover party!

Spring Sprint
This weekend was the annual Beaches Spring Sprint. It was a beautiful day so Mom, Dad and I got out the bikes and headed down to watch Zen participate in his sixth race.
He was wearing bib number 86 and we made sure to cheer extra loud when he ran by us.
The route takes them 0.5 km out along the board walk and then they turn around and run the same 0.5 km back. It was perfect because we got to see him run by twice.
On the way to the finish line he looked a little bit tired, but still very determined. He did such a great job in his race.
Auntie Amanda and Grandma were also on hand in Zen's cheering section.
After the race Zen and I headed to the park to play. They had really tall slides there that I just couldn't get enough of.

Congratulations on your run Zen, I am so proud of you!
