Birthday Sleepover

The fourth and final of Lola's birthday celebrations.  The traditional sleepover with Beej and Dylan.

There were salted snacks, movies, late bed times, lots of giggles and of course...

More cake!

Abracadabra Lola is Six!

For Lola's brithday party with her friends she wanted a magician to come to her party.  And that provided me with all the inspiration that I needed for 'Abracadabra Lola is Six'

The girls from school and Dylan.  Dylan couldn't possibly miss a party that involved magic!

Super Sarah managed to wow the children and the adults alike.

There were many points during her act that the kids just couldn't stop laughing.  She was fun and entertaining and very campy; it was great!

And awesome ballon animals and magic wands for everyone at the end.

Another birthday celebration and another time singing Happy Birthday to Lola.  Birthday celebration #4 and her fourth time blowing out candles.  We were very busy baking in between Lola's brithday celebrations.

Lola's Birthday at Home

After a birthday celebration at daycare and lunch and a movie we all headed back to the house for a family celebration with presents, pizza and more cake.  And Lola was very excited to open her presents; they had been just sitting there taunting her for days. 

She is a very lucky girl and was over the moon with the backpack for Lilly-Anna from the Winnipeg crew.

And then her little brother got her a pony (again for Lilly-Anna)

She is clearly a very well loved little girl who appreciated every moment of her birthday.

I don't think that I have ever seen her this happy!

Birthday Celebration #2

On Lola's actual birthday she was given the option of playing hookie from daycare and hanging out with Mom and Dad all day or going to daycare.  She chose going in to daycare and hanging out with Mom and Dad.  She wanted to take cupcakes (ice cream cone cupcakes with pink icing) into daycare to share with her friends and then have lunch and a movie with Mom and Dad.  We thought that it was a fantastic idea!  Here are the cupcakes and the birthday girl as she headed out to daycare to celebrate being six!
