Hotel Fun

There were two mallard ducks that lived in this little pond outside the hotel. I wouldn't allow mom and dad to go outside without a quick visit to the ducks!
Mom and I did some lounging in the giant 'heavenly bed'; it was pretty awesome.
I loved looking out the window on to the bay watching all the boats and float planes coming and going. It was a pretty neat place to watch the world go by from!
Did I already mention how awesome the bed was?

I really liked the bed! We all had great sleeps in it and it was so big that mom and dad barely even noticed that I was in their bed and not in my crib!

Granville Island

In a moment of insanity Mom and Uncle Jeff decided to take all three of us kids to Granville Island for the day. It was total chaos, but we all loved it!
We had a lunch of bread and cheese on the pier, Shaymus picked out delicious olives from the market.
While we were having lunch this crazy eye ball came over. Shaymus was the only one brave enough to go and talk to him.
We rode the merry go round. It was perfect, three seats for three cousins.
Shaymus wished that it went a whole lot faster.
It was just the perfect speed for Tamara and I.
There were geese down by the water that I loved watching.

Captain Shaymus and the SS Turper.
Back in the mini van to have one final snack on our way home! It was a great visit to Granville, thanks for taking us Uncle Jeff!

Going to the Zoo Zoo Zoo

While we were visiting out west we decided to check out the Vancouver Zoo. Shaymus was a wonderful tour guide, he knows the zoo inside and out.
Shaymus and Ester check out the peacocks.
Lola and Daddy watching Shaymus watch the peacocks.
Snacks were an important part of every outing. I think we stopped at almost every picnic table for sustenance.
Lola and a camel.
The zoo has a bear and wolf enclosure that you take a bus into. It was a bit like Jurassic Park and super cool. We loved the bear bus!
