We have a basket in the entrance way that I love to take everything out of. Mom hopes that I will get into the habit of putting everything back after I take it out.
But, I think that I will just stick with spreading it around the floor.
Sometimes it takes me seconds, sometimes it takes all day, but I always manage to make it empty.
