On Saturday we bundled up and headed north in search of the perfect Christmas tree. 
We learned from last year and remembered to bring a sled along this year to transport Lola in.

The little red sled is surprisingly fast and almost got away from us on a couple of hills.

Lola watched with great curiosity as Daddy cut down the tree.
Binding the tree up so that we can strap it onto the beetle. You would be surprised by the number of curious looks you get when driving a beetle that has a Christmas tree strapped to it!The tree looks great in the house; all lit up and decorated. I'll take some pictures of the finished product and put them up for you soon.
