School has been going so well, Lola loves going to kindergarten more then we could have ever anticipated. Things are busier then ever in our house and a half day of school is more like a quarter day and doesn't actually result in a whole lot of free time for mom, but it is great.
Lola's first day of school started with a healthy breakfast of Elmo and Cookie Monster waffles. She was so excited to get to school that she couldn't cram her breakfast in fast enough.
Finally with breakfast done she was dressed and out the door in a flash.
I am really loving the opportunity to walk her to school for a few months; I'll miss this come February. On her first day Lola ran right into the room and sat down for carpet time with barely a wave back for Mom, Dad, and Quinn.
And while she is always happy to go to school, she is also very happy when she gets picked up. I can't believe my baby girl is in kindergarten. We are so proud of her!
