Thursday Update

There has been a great deal of excitement in our neighbourhood this week, but inside the house it is business as usual. The business of course is playing.
Lola's feet finally touch the bottom of the exersaucer, giving her a lot more freedom. And we all know that more freedom = more fun.

To keep things exciting while the outdoors remain uninhabitable we pulled out this awesome toy that Lola got for Christmas from Baba and Grandpa Bill.
Thanks Baba, I love it!
This used to be our living room, but who needs furniture that isn't big, plastic and noisy?

Only six more days...

Yes, in six days we will be far away from the snow, ice and cold. In six days we will be lounging by a pool in Florida. Only six more days of snowsuits and staying inside, I can't wait!

Vacation #2 and with 3 more on the books all I can say is maternity leave is awesome for a number of reasons. Katie took a bit of heat about the number of vacations she took while on mat leave, but I am now seeing that as a bit of a challenge. The gauntlet has been laid!

Superbowl Sunday

We went to the Dominion to watch the big game and cheer on Bento's Pittsburgh Steelers and Rocco's Arizona Cardinals.
I'm clearly a Cardinals girl (only since Dad's Patriots didn't make the finals this year).
