Happy Birthday Zen and Joseph!

This weekend is known in our family as the 'birthdaypalooza'! It starts with Uncle Aaron and then Joseph and Zen. We didn't get to Wasaga to celebrate cousin Joseph's birthday; we talked to him on the phone and it sounded like he was having an great birthday.

But, we did get to attend Zen's birthday party at Ontario Place. It was great. I am too little to go on any of the rides, but I was just the perfect size to enjoy the amazing water park! Which was perfect because that is exactly where Zen wanted to be.
We ate pizza and cake and played in the water. Zen and his friends move pretty fast, so the only time mom could snap a pic was while he was busy eating his birthday cake!

Dad and I did some very good splashing work. Mom stayed behind the camera!

It was so much fun. Thanks for inviting me to your birthday Zen! Joseph I hope that you had a wonderful day! Love you both!

Happy Birthday Uncle Aaron

Uncle Aaron came over for a BBQ at our house in honour of his 35th birthday. I decided that we should make him some cupcakes to celebrate.
Mom did the baking and I was in charge of the decorating.
It was very precise and delicious work. I tried very hard to not eat all the chocolate icing and sprinkles.
I may have sampled a few.
The finished products!
Daddy and Uncle Aaron!
He didn't have any trouble at all with his candles! Happy Birthday Uncle Aaron!

New Dress

Mom actually bought this dress last fall and was so excited that I was finally big enough to fit into it.
I think that it looks best with my boots on the wrong feet!
My patented modeling pose; gingham steel!

Well, that would be the laundry basket of course!

Bon Voyage Grandpa and Baba

I hope that you guys have a wonderful time in England and I can't wait to see your photos when you get back!
Mom wants you to bring her back tea!

July

July is ladies month and Mom has been busy, so for most of July Dad has been in charge.
When Mom headed out of town for a few days on the Boozy Babes Retreat we retreated to Collingwood to visit with Grandpa and Oma.
They took very good care of us and we got to visit with Uncle John!

Arts and Crafts

Arts and crafts time is always a very popular time around our house, but sparkles, crayons, markers, and glue have nothing on stickers. This kid loves stickers and I love that I can buy hundreds of them for a dollar!
Sometimes it is very precise work, sometimes it is willy nilly, but it always results in a fantastic work of art.
Grandparents beware some of this magnificent art work will end up in a mailbox near you shortly.

The Junior Johnny

Last weekend I participated in the inaugural 2010 Junior Johnny.

While I might be a bit too small for mini putt I was excited to be invited and loved walking along with all the other kids and placing my ball directly in the hole (I wasn't the only one doing this, yes Carl did have a very suspicious hole in one!).
Here I am about to tee off at the first hole with Dustind and Beej.
I did some very intense studying of the greens.
All the holes sort of looked this chaotic; with eight kids running around the Junior Johnny it was a bit on the crazy side.

I took home the award for Youngest Golfer, mom and dad were pretty proud.
Thanks Carl and Jo for organizing and hosting the First Annual Junior Johnny!

The Airplane

I have this amazing airplane in my back yard, one of my neighbours made it for me. When Beej and Dylan came over to play the other day they decided to make the airplane a little more interesting.
The greatest thing is that they did it in chalk, so after it rains we can do it all over again.
Mom didn't get any photos of Dylan working on the plane, but there is this shot of the two of us escaping the heat and doing some playing work inside the house.
