Mont-Tremblant

Mom and Dad went to Mont-Tremblant this past weekend to celebrate Tam and Pat's wedding. I decided that it was in my best interests to stay with Baba and Grandpa in Mississauga. We had a blast in Mississauga and took lots of pictures, but I'll have to get Uncle Jon to send some to me so that we can put them on the blog.

In the mean time you can look at the pictures from Mom and Dad's trip. The beautiful bride and her new husband.

A whole bunch of the crew made the drive to Quebec to celebrate.
Mom and Dad looking nice and neither one of them smells like baby barf, weird???

Boys being boys.
Killer dance moves.

Best photo of the trip.

The late night crew, still up and still dancing.

Visit from Grandpa and Oma

Today Grandpa Paul and Oma came all the way from Collingwood for a visit. I got out all my toys to show to them.

They were very impressed with my waving skills, hi Oma!
Here I am telling Grandpa and Oma about everything that has happened since Florida.
Mom and I playing around. I wonder where I learned to stick out my tongue?
Check out my sweet boots, thanks for the loan Dylan!

Peeps Show T.O. 2009 - Update

If you are having trouble finding Peeps, try the WM Boutique; we picked up a bunch of different ones there.

Welcome Spring

Everyone around our house is happy that spring has finally arrived. I'm just happy to finally see the sunshine.

Here I am playing in a sun beam at Grandma's place with my new doll house.

This is my new rocking chair, I love it! Thanks Grandma.
Playing x-box with Daddy is one of our favourite things to do on a Sunday.

Busy Social Calendar

The past few days have been very busy, way too busy to blog. Here is what I have been up to since my last post.Friday was the last Rainbow music class for this session. Mom brought the camera to take pictures of parachute time, I love it.
The thing is awesome!

Friday night we had a sushi dinner date with Tanta Ness and Uncle G. The Spring Break 2009 reunion; unfortunately mom forgot to take photos with Tanta Ness and Uncle G, but they were there!

I love sushi!
Then on Saturday my friends Dylan and BJ came over for brunch. Here we are all hanging out in the big green chair. The boys are totally captivated by me.

Everybody clap for Lola! Good job boys!
Grandma Trish is back from her trip to Edmonton, so on Sunday she picked up Auntie Amanda and cousin Zen and they all came over for a visit. I was very happy to see them all and we were even able to convince Zen to come in the house and give me a smile!

Sunday was also Chewy's 16th birthday, so for her party we went to the dog park. It was the perfect day to spend time hanging with Dad in the Bjorn.
The sun is shining and Spring is in the air. Soon I won't need to wear my toque!

Peeps Show T.O. 2009

So here it is ladies and gentlemen the long awaited call for the Peeps Show T.O. 2009 submissions. Entries are due Sunday April 12, 2009.

What in the world am I talking about you may ask. The most wonderful contest idea ever, a Peeps Diorama contest. Now, I will admit to not coming up with the idea myself, but if the contest was open to residents outside of the USA I wouldn't be forced to have to have my own contest.

So, here are the details of the first annual Peeps Show T.O. 2009.

The process:

1. Think of a scene. Sketch some ideas. Extra credit may be given to deft use of puns in the concept or title. (Examples include the always funny "Soylent Green is Peeps!"). All your main characters must be Peeps!

2. Buy Peeps.

3. Make your diorama using a shoe box or comparable item. Dress your Peeps as you see fit: Give them pipe-cleaner arms or jelly bean feet, for example. Embrace the mallow medium. If you don't know how to make a diorama, Google "how to make a diorama."

4. Take photos of your completed diorama from varying angles. E-mail two of your best photos to leah_darcy@primus.ca. Put "Peeps" in the subject line. In the message, include your name, the title of the diorama and a brief description of its significance or creation.

5. Photo submissions are due by 11:59 p.m. April 12, 2009, but keep your masterpieces intact.

6. Oh, right and there are prizes, which will be awarded by an independent judge.

7. If you have any more questions, just let me know.

Good luck, I'm off to work on my diorama!

Meeting B & B

Today we went over to meet my new best girl friends Bridget and Burke.
Bridget was sleeping.
And so was Burke, but I could tell already that the three of us are going to get into some serious trouble!

Mommy and Baby Spa Day

One of the yoga ladies found this place that offers mom and baby spa time on Tuesday mornings. So, we decided to go and check it out.

Lucas and his mom getting their toes done.
Isn't mat leave awesome?

I was a bit skeptical at first...
The finished product! We will definitely be doing this again!
